Apple claims that updated software in the new iPod allows it to use the battery more efficiently and increase battery life to 12 hours, and minor changes such as the addition of a Shuffle Songs item on the top-level menu make it more convenient for users. After many requests from users asking for these improvements to be made available to earlier iPods as well, Apple on February 23, 2005, released a firmware update which brings the new menu items to 1G through 3G iPods.

News media reported that on June 5, 2004, Lopez married singer Marc Anthony. However, after more than half a year of matrimony, it has been rumoured that the Lopez-Anthony marriage may be on the rocks.

On September 28, 2004 (her birthday), she released her second album, the self-titled Hilary Duff. She says that it has an edgier, rock feel into it. The album was supposed to be called The Girl Can Rock. Its first single is Fly, and it also includes Haters, which is rumored to be about Lindsay Lohan, who is sometimes considered to be Duff's enemy.

In the fall of 2004, it was reported that Jolie has started proceedings to adopt another child, this time from Russia.

iPod shuffle has no screen and therefore has limited options for navigating between music tracks: users can play songs either in the order set in iTunes or in a random (shuffled) order. iTunes can be set to fill iPod shuffle with a random selection from the user's music library each time the device is connected to the computer. iPod shuffle weighs less than one ounce (four United States quarters) and approximates in size to a pack of chewing gum. Like the rest of the family, the iPod shuffle can operate as a USB storage device.

The stimulant properties of coffee and the fact that coffee does not adversely impact higher mental functions causes coffee to be associated with white collar jobs. Social habits involving coffee include the morning coffee and coffee breaks.

The 3G iPod featured touch-sensitive buttons located below the display. The new buttons featured red backlighting (controlled by the same preference as the screen backlight), allowing easier use of the iPod in the dark.

The North Korean military's effect on the economy cannot be overestimated. The government spends 22.9% (2003) of the nation's GDP on military (Compared to 3.3% (FY03 est.) for the U.S. and 2.7% (FY03) spent by neighboring South Korea), and has recruited 1.2 million of the healthiest young men into the army. This focus on military spending is unheard of anywhere else in the world, and has severely depressed the North's economy for decades.

She does have a perfume line out right now called Glow, and she was in question before, because the name came from another patented perfume.

Shinichi Watanabe, also known as Nabeshin, directed and appeared in the popular parody anime Excel Saga, and is well-known for his gonzo animation style.

The PSP is capable of displaying still image, movie, and audio files stored on the UMD disk format or a memory stick. The system supports MP3 and Sony's ATRAC3plus formats for audio, AVC (H.264 encoding, in an *.mp4 wrapper instead of the usual *.avi) for video, and JPEG images. The PSP also has the capability to decode MPEG-4 Part 2 and MPEG-4 Part 3 from the memory stick.

Final Fantasy borrowed many gameplay elements from its primary rival, the Dragon Quest franchise. As such, Final Fantasy uses a menu-driven, turn-based battle system. Most games in the series utilize a experience level system for character advancement (although Final Fantasy II did not), and a point-based system for casting magical spells (though Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy VIII all featured different approaches). Most games in the series (post-Final Fantasy III) feature a variety of special commands, over and beyond the traditional Attack, Defend, Cast Magic, and Run battle commands, such as the ability to steal items from enemies, or perfoming a leap attack.

Duff was born in Houston, Texas, and started her career at the age of six in the Nutcracker Suite with Columbus Ballet Met in San Antonio with her older sister, ballet dancer Haylie Duff. She decided to pursue an acting career and appeared in a few television commercials. Her first role was in the TV mini-series True Women in 1997. Throughout the year, she won for Choice Female Artist and Choice Hottie Female at the Teen Choice Awards, Best-Selling Album (...Baby One More Time) at the Juno Awards and Best-Selling Female Pop Artist at the World Music Awards. Anime has been available in the North America and Europe for some time. Anime releases there are usually dubbed into the language of the country in which they are released. Anime series are also sometimes edited by Western distributors to remove what they feel local audiences would consider to be objectionable content. This is especially true with series that are marketed to children, such as Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pok�mon. In other cases, editing is done to change content to make it easier for Western viewers to understand. Some anime enthusiasts object to one or both forms of editing. Those viewers often watch anime titles in DVD format, because DVD releases are typically unedited and often include both the dubbed audio and the original Japanese audio with subtitles.

In 2003, Spears was nominated for two Grammy awards yet again: Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for Overprotected, and Best Pop Vocal Album for Britney. She did not win either award.
