Shortly before this, Apple Computer had introduced a battery replacement scheme ($99) for out-of-warranty iPods, and offered users the option to extend the warranty of their iPods ($59). In addition, other companies are offering battery replacements for as little as $50, or users can purchase a battery (at ipodbattery.com, for example) for around $30 and replace it themselves.

Paravoor is a coastal resort town in the Quilon (renamed Kollam) district of India‘s southern state of Kerala. It is about 15 km from Kollam town and 60 km from Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. It lies on the Malabar Coast of India, fronting on the Arabian Sea.
